World stars and clothing drops announced for the Volta mode

from Dominik Zwingmann
EA Sports has introduced several world stars for the Volta game mode. For the first time, people from outside the world of football will also be represented here. Heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua and music producer Diplo have already been confirmed. In addition, clothing drops from manufacturers such as Adidas and Nike were announced.

Last year, the EA Sports team introduced Volta, a new game mode for the FIFA series, in which players with smaller teams can experience street football in a football simulation. Volta will also be back in FIFA 21 and fans can expect some new features. Stars from the fields of football, fashion and music will be available as players.

In addition to well-known faces like Kylian Mbappé, who also made it onto the cover of FIFA 21 this year, Volta fans will also select non-footballers for their team for the first time with Anthony Joshua (world heavyweight champion) or Diplo (music producer and DJ) can. With Kaká, Eric Catona and Trent Alexander-Arnold, three further names have already been confirmed from the world of football. EA would like to shortly introduce many more stars for the Volta mode of FIFA 21.

In cooperation with manufacturers such as Adidas or Nike, there will also be clothing drops this year. This allows players to give their team their own style. Professional footballer Héctor Bellerín designed a Volta collection especially for FIFA 21, which will then also be available. A few days ago, the makers published a new trailer for the simulation, which gives a foretaste of the various goal celebrations. FIFA 21 (buy now /€ 56.99 ) will be released on October 9, 2020 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A little later there will also be a conversion for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
