Timewalking raids sound like fun? Well. How do timewalking raids sound with less than half the loot? Not so fun anymore? If so, then you are like many other players who are boycotting timewalking raids because of the loot adjustment.

In this ID of WoW Shadowlands something like a time wandering event takes place. This means that players can dust off a 200 item via the weekly quest and fresh 60s can raise their average item level a little via the Cataclysm dungeons. In timewalking weeks, however, the raids are often overlooked, through which there is also some loot to be stolen. This is also interesting for new 60s characters, as the current item level is adapted to the Cataclysm raids and bosses drop item level 200.

Timewalking raids are sometimes a bit overtuned and take a little time, but in some weeks there are interesting items with additional sockets or strong pieces of jewelry that you would not get with the usual Shadowlands content. In addition, a lot of loot drops there. In a 15-player group, for example, up to five items can drop. Well, at least so far.

Since this ID (or already a January 5th hotfix) the amount of loot from Timewalking raids has been adjusted to the Shadowlands loot distribution. While you were showered with loot in the Ulduar time-wandering version, now hardly any loot drops. Since this expansion, the developers have followed the philosophy of making loot more valuable by making it less frequent. Instead of up to five items for 15 players, bosses only drop two items. This of course makes following up a twink more tedious and feels like a waste of time.

This of course leads to resentment among the players. As the community has recently read, the first players leave the Timewalking Raid when they notice how few items the bosses are now dropping.

Do you still go into timewalking raids? And how satisfied are you with the amount of loot? Write to us in the comments.
