The WoW developers are currently again offering free character transfers for WoW Burning Crusade Classic. We summarize for you an overview of the realms for which the transfers are available.

If you are currently actively playing WoW Burning Crusade Classic and would like to transfer your own character to another server, you can now enjoy free transfers. The WoW developers have announced a corresponding free campaign for a small selection of servers. We summarize the details for you.

Character transfers for Burning Crusade Classic – All information at a glance

You can currently perform the following character transfers on European servers for free:

  • Gehennas to Stonespine (Horde only)
  • Gehennas to Ten Storms (Horde only)
  • Pyrewood Village to Nethergarde Keep (Alliance only)
  • Firemaw to Bloodfang (Horde only)

If you want to perform a character transfer between these servers, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • You cannot transfer characters that
    • Are leaders of a guild.
    • owns active auctions in the auction house.
    • Has messages in the mailbox.
  • You may need to change your character’s name after the transfer.
  • You cannot transfer a character to a PvP realm on which you own a character from the other faction.
  • The transfer of a character is final and cannot be undone – not even by Blizzard Customer Service.

According to the current status, the free character transfer is still available until Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. German time. However, the developers reserve the right to end the transfer action earlier, depending on how the population of the affected servers develops. Should there be any changes, we will inform you as soon as possible with an update of this article.
