WoW: Kael'thas as a permanent companion in Revendreth

of Philipp Sattler
As part of the Venthyr Pact campaign in WoW Shadowlands, Kael'thas accompanies you on some adventures. Due to a small bug, it is apparently currently possible to bring the blood elf to your side as a permanent companion in Revendreth. But for that you have to renounce the Venthyr and join another pact.

With WoW Shadowlands a lot of old friends have returned to the world of Warcraft. Including iconic characters like Uther or Ysera. But Kael'thas is also celebrating his comeback in the Shadowlands after we met him in the Terrace of the Magisters and the Sunwell Plateau. We meet the latter in Revendrehen, where he accompanies us, among other things, as part of a quest series. Actually, the blood elf should leave us after completing the quest. But thanks to a buff it is apparently possible to bring him to your side as a permanent companion in Revend Dreh.

All you have to do is accept the quest in question from the campaign and then simply change the pact. This ends the quest, but Kael'thas now always returns to your side as soon as you enter Revendreth. In practice it might be a bit of a hassle just to get a companion who neither fights for you nor has any other use. Because to get to the quest, you have to do almost the entire campaign of the Venthyr. We also assume that this bug will be fixed in the near future. Or the developers leave it in as a small feature. Because you don't get any real advantages as a player.

But if you want to leave the Venthyr anyway and are in the middle of the campaign, you might want to add one or two more quests to avoid having to run through Revendreh alone in the future. How long you have the pleasure then, only Blizzard knows.
