Zelda, WoW and Minecraft don't go together at first? The developer of Craftopia sees it differently and wants to offer PC gamers everything in one. Apparently that goes down well too.

Craftopia: A mix of cult games

Nowadays it is not uncommon for developers to adopt successful models from other games in order to win over players. The three cult games The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Minecraft and World of Warcraft are three good candidates for this, because they all include a crafting system, multiplayer, open world, dungeons and much more. This is where the Japanese developer Pocket Pair comes in, who also built these elements and styles into Craftopia.

If you'd rather stay with Zelda.

Craftopia gets good reviews

The game is still in the "Early Access" phase, so it is not surprising that there are still a few bugs in the game. Nonetheless, the ratings on Steam are good. Of over 6500 reviews, over 80% are positive and the developer is apparently behind, gradually eradicating the bugs.

Craftopia was released on Steam on September 4, 2020. It remains to be seen how players will rate the finished game. We'll keep you up to date.
