The following four special sanctum areas are the parts of your sanctum that you can develop, improve, and expand over time. Three of these areas (Travel network, Animal leader, Command table) are similar for all four alliances, with different design variants reflecting the character of the pact. Each sanctum also has a unique area; in the seat of the Primus this is the one Abomination Factory.
Upgrade of the sanctum areas
All four areas of the sanctum can be upgraded by donating anima and other resources to the sanctum upgrade NPC. To begin researching upgrades in any of these areas, go to Arkadia Moa
Seat of the Primus command table
The Command table is the first area that you should unlock. Learning the basics of operating the command table is one of the opening quests. The table is located in the southwest wing of the seat of the Primus.
You can use the command desk to send adventurers to receive various rewards. The rewards of the adventures, the costs of carrying them out, the status of your units and the challenges posed by the enemies can be displayed here. You should always choose a solid mix of adventurers, soul ties and troops to form a group of up to five units to deal with the various threats. The rewards include anima, gold, pets, mounts, and more.

Seat of the Primus Animaleiter
With the help of Animal leaders you can open certain zones in Maldraxxus to unlock special treasures, quests and enemies. While you are building your animal leader, you will receive a changing selection of new destinations until they are all permanently unlocked. The animal leader is in the center of the first large room in the seat of the Primus.

Necrolord Pact Sanctum Feature: Abomination Factory
The special pact sanctum feature of the necrolods is the Abomination Factory. During the first quests of the pact campaign of the Nekolords you get to know Rathan and Emeni, with whom you build a small community called Butcher Block. Here you gather various constructs that are loyal to the seat of the Primus and unlock a new crafting system: Monstrosity mending.
On your way to becoming a master of mending you will collect a wide variety of resources and bring constructs to life. Each of these constructs enriches the butcher block with a unique personality as well as new quests and accompanies you (in some cases) on your adventures.
