In Revendreth, home of the Venthyr in WoW Shadowlands, you don't necessarily have to use the flight master to get around the area quickly. You can also just use the carriage – it is not that fast, but it is much more stylish.
If you want to go from one place to another in WoW, you have various options to get there. From running, to riding, to the deep train, a ship or zeppelin to portals and the good old flight master. The latter are probably the main means of transportation in any expansion, as long as our heroes are not yet allowed to swing themselves into the air by flight mount. And that will probably also be in Shadowlands be so. As in all previous enhancements, there are various NPCs in the areas that send us crisscross the air on the domestic flying animals so that we can reach our destination quickly and comfortably. But at least in Revendreth you also have the option in some areas to switch from the air to the street without having to ride or run yourself.
In large parts of southern Revendreth, which is mainly used during leveling, there are several carriages on the main paths. They travel back and forth like a public bus and invite foot-lazy heroes to come along. In contrast to the flight routes, you can get in and out of the carriages at any time. However, while driving, because the little drivers don't think much of stopping.
Admittedly, the practical use of the carriages is limited, as they are not necessarily much faster than your own mount. But it contributes a lot to the mood in Revendreth. In addition, it is a nice opportunity at the beginning to take a look at the area and get an idea of Revendreth. The whole thing is somewhat reminiscent of the ship routes on Kul Tiras. These had flair, but were not necessarily practical.

What do you think of the new carriage ride? Do you like such little things or do you think they're a waste of time for developers?
