The first weeks of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic can be quite expensive. The professions need to be leveled, the equipment improved and the quick flight mount needs to be paid for. At the same time, the first weeks and months of WoW: Burning Crusade Classic can also be extremely lucrative.
The amount of gold you can get when you complete a zone at level 70 is enormous. There are also countless other ways to get gold. About daily quests, professions or the farming of certain items that can easily be turned into gold in the auction house.
In this article we want to introduce you to some of the best gold farming locations in Outland right now, which promise lots of gold pieces per hour despite full servers and fierce competition. If you can recommend other areas for gold farming, tell us about them in the comments!
WoW: TBC Classic – Urfeuer farmen an Kil’jaedens Thron
To the north of the Hellfire Peninsula lies Kil’jaeden’s throne, where you, among other things Doomlord Kazzak challenge every few days. The special thing about the area:
- You can only reach the area via flight mount or port.
- Fire elementals (glowing hellsparks) are spawning all over the area, with a pretty good chance Fire particles can drop.
- There are so many other players in the area hunting the elementals that they spawn almost every second. In other words: If you park yourself in front of just one spawn point of such a fire creature, you are already well utilized and after an hour you leave with several Primeval fire home. If you control two or three spots, of course there is a lot more prey.
WoW: TBC Classic – Aldor items in the fortress of the Legion
Our second recommendation also benefits enormously from the high respawn rates that occur automatically in Outland when enough players fight for the same opponents. In the Legion’s stronghold in Shadowmoon Valley you will find three pillars, which are covered with a channeling spell by several sorcerers of the Shadow Council.
These warlocks spawn very quickly and drop, for example Devilish weapons, Sickness of the Sargeras and lots Netherstoff. And since the spawn rates are so high, it doesn’t matter that the keep is besieged by dozens of players almost around the clock. And if there is no sorcerer there, you pull the nearby horror master or prophet Cavrylin. Just watch out for the elite demon Morgroron!
WoW: TBC Classic – Urschatten farmen bei Oshu’gun
If you want to farm elementals in TBC Classic, you probably think first of the throne of the elements in Nagrand. However, the zone is mostly heavily over-farmed and there are comparably efficient alternatives. We have already mentioned one of the fire elementals at Kil’jaeden’s throne, and you can find another at Oshu’gun in Nagrand.
Shadow elementals (spawn of the void) spawn around the large building with nice regularity, which are quite easy to knock down due to their comparatively low level (65/66). Unlike most of the other elementals, these drop alongside the Treasure particles also silver and even Netherstoff. You can also supplement the farm tour with the air elementals in the south or, if you can furrier, with the Aged Clefthoof, of which you have a good chance Thick Clefthoof Leather can get.
WoW: TBC Classic – Urmana farm at the Bash’ir landing site
To the north of the Blade’s Edge Mountains is the landing site of Bash’ir, which can only be reached with a flight mount or via port. Also good for all gold farmers: There is currently no quest that leads players into this area. So the competition is manageable.
And what can you farm there with the phase wyrms, unbandaged astrals and Bash’ir fighters (level 70 to 72)? Well next to silver Netherstoff and the other common loot above all Manapartikel, but also Ethereum prison key. The latter drop there, according to our impression, better than in the Ethereum camps in the Netherstorm. And since there are players who farm reputation with the consortium and invest some gold in those prison keys for this, one or the other farm round at the landing site of Bash’ir is worthwhile.
Again the question: Can you recommend any other gold farming areas in Outland? Let us know your tips in the comments!
