Microsoft's recent decision put many Xbox gamers on the barricades. The company reacted quickly, not only reversing the changes, but also had a gift in their luggage that should please the players.
Xbox Live Gold: Subscription service is not more expensive after fan criticism
Microsoft is turning the price screw – or at least that's what the company planned to do. In one official blog post it was announced that the price of the subscription service Xbox Live Gold would increase"To respond to changes in the respective markets and continue to invest in the Xbox community".
The prices for the Xbox Gold Live offers should therefore change as follows:
- 1 month: 8.99 euros instead of 6.99 euros
- 3 months: 23.99 euros instead of 19.99 euros
- 6 months: 47.99 euros instead of 39.99 euros
However, these changes were not well received by the fans. They complained loudly on numerous social media portals and really vented their anger. After the "shitstorm" appeared, Microsoft decided without further ado not to implement the changes. The Xbox players will continue to benefit from the low prices for the subscription service.
This month you can look forward to 4 new free games if you are an Xbox Live Gold member:
