Microsoft will be launching several Xbox Game Studios first-party games for Xbox Series X on July 23, 2020 as part of the Xbox Games Showcase. The event is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. An hour before there will be a pre-show with Geoff Keighley. Among other things, there will be gameplay on Halo Infinite.
Microsoft officials have confirmed the date for the Xbox Games Showcase. On July 23, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. German time, the company will introduce several first-party games from Xbox Game Studios that will be released for Xbox Series X in the future. The event was announced in May. To date, however, there has been no fixed date. The Xbox Games Showcase will have similarities to the recent PS5 reveal, where Sony has also presented numerous first-party titles.
It is already certain that we will see gameplay from Halo Infinite. The upcoming shooter will be commercially available for the launch of the Xbox Series X. However, the title will also appear for Xbox One and the PC. Recently there have also been rumors of a reboot of the Fable series. An appearance by the next Forza Motorsport would not be a big surprise for the event. According to the tweet from Microsoft, the Xbox Games Showcase can be followed live on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. One hour before the event starts, Geoff Keighley will host a one-hour pre-show as part of his Summer Game Fest. We do not yet know whether Microsoft will say anything about the price and release of the Xbox Series X. Both next-gen consoles are currently planned for release towards the end of 2020.
