The development of the remake of XIII is slowly coming to an end. The release of the shooter has now been leaked in advance in the online shop of Amazon Spain. According to the Product page XIII will be released on November 10th, 2020 for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. This means that the new edition appears almost exactly 17 years after the original, which was released on November 18, 2003 for PC, PS2, Xbox and GameCube.
The remake of XIII was announced in April 2019 with a short teaser. In the story of the title, you take on the role of the soldier Thirteen, who wakes up on Brighton Beach without any memories. Your task is to bring these memories back in the extensive campaign. The special features of XIII include the special Cel shading look, which can also be seen in the new screenshots of the game in an improved look. You can find a picture gallery below.
In the live stream of the IGN Summer of Gaming 2020 there will also be another trailer for the remake tonight. It can be assumed that the release for XIII should have been revealed here. The transmission starts at 8:30 p.m. German time. The new edition is listed on Amazon in an exclusive limited edition, which in addition to the main game also includes a metal case, three small art cards and an in-game skin pack for the "Golden XIII Weapons". We also had the chance at the last Gamescom in Cologne to take a closer look at the remake.
