You are not sure when talking to NPCs

from Andreas Bertits
In the dialogues of the upcoming action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077, things can happen that will distract you. So don't feel safe while talking to NPCs.

In some role-playing games, the action pauses when you are in dialogues with NPCs or opponents cancel attacks so that you can talk to the other parties in peace. In CD Projekt Reds action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 but it will be different.

Conversations can be very exciting

A new report from Official Playstation Magazine explains that you can look around during dialogues with NPCs. There is no fixed camera perspective for the dialogues. And there is a very specific reason for this. Because in Cyberpunk 2077 (buy now for € 58.19) the action continues as you speak to people. That means things can happen around you while you are in the middle of a dialogue.

This also means that you are not sure during the conversations. Enemies could sneak up and attack you from behind while you're distracted. That is why it is important to always keep an eye on the surroundings and look around so that you can notice such attacks in good time. Or maybe you discover another exciting situation that happens during the conversation and you break off the dialogue to take care of it. How NPCs react when you leave them in the middle of the conversation is still unclear.

According to CD Projekt Red, looking around during dialogues should also have immersive reasons. After all, sometimes you do this during a real conversation. This feature could lead to more interesting situations when talking to NPCs. These then do not run statically, as you know from other RPGs, exciting situations could develop.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
