YouTuber threatens and insults EA developers – now the punishment follows

FIFA pro and YouTuber Kurt “Kurt0411” Fenech had to learn the hard way that there is a clear difference between justified criticism and derogatory threatening gestures.

The FIFA player Kurt "Kurt0411" Fenech is known among players rather for outbursts of anger and hatred than for his skills in FIFA 20, EA now went far beyond Fenech's behavior and they punish him to a degree never seen before.

The constant feud between EA and Fenech has been going on for a few months, but now the YouTuber with the vulgar outbursts seems to have gone a step too far with a YouTube video. EA announced on Twitter:

An extract from the key message:

“In November 2019, after a series of code of conduct violations during the EA SPORTS FIFA Global Series that threatened employees and other games, Kurt0411 was excluded from all EA SPORTS FIFA Global Series events and future competitions. Since then, Kurt has continued to publish derogatory and threatening news and videos against EA employees and other social media games, and encouraged others to do the same. His messages have exceeded the limits of decency and have become personal attacks that violate our terms of use. We will not tolerate threats. As a consequence, Kurt0411's EA account is permanently excluded from playing our games and access to our online services today due to the serious and repeated violations mentioned. "

An example of this behavior can be found in this video, in the Fenech mobs against EA and spits on the logo:

Last week, a Fenech disstrack went online with a rapper. Again, the video offends EA and other FIFA players, You can do the discussable work on Youtube watch – but you don't have to.

Excluding all EA games can be one of the toughest penalties a studio can pronounce. Is the ban justified? Write your opinion in the comments.
